The Mount Cardigan summit is north of Hopkinton so we had to drive about an hour to get there. Cardigan is also in the town
of Alexandria, and is just west of Newfound Lake. The White Mountain National Forest is northeast of Cardigan. The AMC lodge
is to the east of Cardigan. Rumney is north of Mount Cardigan so we could see the windmills there from Firescrew. The Green
mountains of Vermont are the the west of Cardigan. The Firescrew summit is N 43 degrees 54 minutes and 21.4 seconds.

The special-ness of Cardigan was that we could do five mountains in less than 10 miles and get back in time for dinner and it
was a very different location. Also, the lodge was special because it could hold half the grade, it was solar powered and it
had a good view of Cardigan. Another thing that was special was that there were trails to go on really close to the lodge.
The guides were also special because they had us do a no ort dinner and breakfast, they were able to hike a lot six days in a
row and they were very entertaining. Lastly, the all the games were special because they made them outdoors and they were
really fun.

What was different about the location of Cardigan was that we were very close to the mountains and there was a waterfall
close to the aAMC lodge. Also, it was a long way from any store or restaurant and there was no cell service. There were a lot
of different trees there and different animals. Another thing that was different was that there were five mountains near each
other so you could go to all five of them. The weather was also different because it hot and once you got on top of the mountains
it was freezing cold. Lastly, the elevation was different so it made us more tired when we were there.
